WAHDX Testing Lab
& Vendor Certification Program

The Washington Alliance for Health Data Exchange (WAHDX) Testing Lab and Vendor Certification Program helps ensure that health IT solutions exchanging data across Washington State follow 2023’s My Health My Data law and meet consistent standards for interoperability, security, and performance as defined by our state.
The program provides independent, repeatable testing and formal certification to validate that vendor systems can reliably connect to WAHDX-supported exchanges and comply with applicable state and national requirements.
Our goal is simple:
Reduce friction, increase trust, and accelerate safe, high‑quality health data exchange for providers, payers, public health agencies, and community partners.
Who the program is for
The WAHDX Testing Lab and Vendor Certification Program is designed for:
Health IT vendors
(EHRs, HIE platforms, public health systems, analytics tools)
Payers and managed care organizations
Health systems, hospitals, and clinics
Public health and government agencies
New or emerging vendors seeking readiness validation
Whether you are onboarding to WAHDX for the first time or expanding existing exchange capabilities, certification provides assurance to your partners and customers.
